Veteran conference-goers: The Tipline for 13 November 2018

We’re gearing up for a short but very busy week, as everyone seems to be cramming events into the few days that remain before Thanksgiving. In addition to more Federal Trade Commission hearings today and tomorrow, there is the American Bar Association’s fall forum on Thursday, which coincides with the Technology Policy Institute’s conference on Antitrust and the Platform Economy. The latter features a discussion commemorating the 40th anniversary of The Antitrust Paradox, as well as remarks by FTC commissioner Noah Phillips and chief economist Bruce Kobayashi.
