Tronox softens tone against US FTC

Tronox’s chief executive Jeffry Quinn took a less aggressive tone on Thursday, saying the company will pursue reasonable remedies to resolve the US Federal Trade Commission’s competition concerns – manifested this week in a lawsuit – about Tronox’s acquisition of Cristal’s titanium dioxide business.
