Housed in the disputes practice group at ASSEGAF HAMZAH & PARTNERS, the competition team is led by Rikrik Rizkiyana, who works alongside partners Yogi Marsono, Vovo Iswanto and Eri Hertiawan. A host of economists and associates complete the active competition team, which provides general competition and compliance advice to a long list of clients operating across sectors, including Bank Permata, Beiersdorf Indonesia, Toyota Motor Manufacturing and Huawei Tech Investment.
Recently, the team has advised Asahi Glass, Itochu, Lafarge, Airbus ProSky and Amanda Cipta Persada, Hon Hai Precision Industry and Saratoga Investama Sedaya in separate merger control matters, and Goodyear Indonesia on antitrust matters before the KPPU. Currently, the firm acts for Japfa Comfeed in the KPPU’s ongoing investigation into the company’s alleged anticompetitive practices in the country’s chicken-stock market, and for Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing, after the KPPU brought forth price-fixing allegations.
