The team acted for BASF as it purchased Bayer’s divested vegetable seeds business, a remedy the enforcer required from Bayer to complete its acquisition of Monsanto. The firm advised both LyondellBasell and A Schulman in their tie-up of two plastic manufacturers. It represented Frutarom in its sale to International Flavours and Fragrances and Brazilian steel company Gerdau in completing the purchase of an additional 50% of Gerdau Corsa. The team helped Panasonic secure a 90% reduction in a fine issued for alleged gun jumping in a deal.
