Perhaps due to the absence of Senator Orrin Hatch, the Senate antitrust subcommittee hearing yesterday on the consumer welfare standard was sadly lacking in “hipster antitrust” mentions. However, the presence of Senator Richard Blumenthal brought multiple references to the impending vote by the Federal Communications Commission today on whether to undo the Open Internet Order, popularly referred to as the net neutrality regulation.
