LinkedIn amici say judge’s ruling could hinder competition
Two internet companies have asked an appeals court to vacate a federal judge’s decision that forces LinkedIn to allow its website to be scraped, arguing that the networking site’s use of technological blocks to prevent the data mining of its content does not constitute unfair competition.
