Latvia reaffirms liability for bid-rigging fine

Latvia’s Supreme Court has thrown out a lower court’s annulment of a €7.6 million bid-rigging fine, holding that the country’s competition law deems a parent company and its subsidiaries to be a single market actor, making them jointly and severally liable for each other’s anticompetitive conduct.
