Italy’s parliament moves to prohibit hotel parity clauses

Italy’s Senate approved the text of a draft competition bill yesterday that will make all hotel rate parity clauses illegal, similar to a French law on price parity clauses and overruling the national competition authority’s stance on most-favoured-nation clauses.
