Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service is the largest competition enforcer in the world, with nearly 2,000 employees and 84 regional offices outside of its Moscow headquarters. It was the first to bring a formal decision against an embattled Google for the company’s alleged Android app store dominance in Russia, but has not joined the chorus of European allegations against Gazprom for competition violations in the oil industry.
