Spurring competition The year 2014 was a good one for competition in Norway, both on the policy and the enforcement side. The government put emphasis on the role of competition for economic growth, which is reflected in the appointment of a Productivity Commission. The Productivity Commission shall identify the causes of lower productivity growth and put forward concrete proposals that can strengthen the productivity and growth potential of the Norwegian economy.
