The ACM’s aim is to promote options and opportunities for consumers and business. Finding the best solutions for market problems, including competition problems, is imperative to achieving that aim. The ACM brings together consumer protection, competition oversight and sector-specific regulation in a single organisation. By combining these different powers and fields of expertise, the ACM aims for a higher level of effectiveness and efficiency.
