Austria: Federal Competition Authority

Since 2011, the Federal Competition Authority (FCA) has conducted numerous investigations in various economic sectors. The evidence obtained during these investigations has allowed the authority to bring numerous cases to court. Parts of that evidence are still being processed. Since 2014 the cartel court has imposed a total of more than €25 million of fines. The focus of the authority was on consumer goods such as food, insulation or electronic devices.
