The European Antitrust Review 2013

Spain: Overview

In September 2011, it was the fourth anniversary of the setting of the Spanish National Competition Commission (the NCC) as a result of the entering into force of the Spanish Competition Act 15/2007 (the SCA). During that period, the NCC committed a significant stake of its resources mainly to competition advocacy and competition defence. The NCC has continued to focus on these pillars aimed at fighting hard-core restrictions and contributing to the fostering and promotion of competition.
