Key points Australia’s antitrust and consumer protection legislation is contained in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA). The object of the CCA is to enhance the welfare of Australians through the promotion of competition and fair trading and provision for consumer protection. There have been a number of key developments over the past year.
