A former chief economist at the Antitrust Division yesterday testified on behalf of the Federal Trade Commission in an effort to undo the Ottobock/Freedom Innovations merger. Meanwhile, a federal appellate court reversed the dismissal of claims brought by a seller of cardiac monitoring devices against Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and several associated health insurance companies.
