Barbosa Müssnich e Aragão Advogados wins Regional Firm of the Year - Americas at GCR Awards 2018

Brazilian firm Barbosa Müssnich e Aragão Advogados has won Regional Firm of the Year - Americas at GCR Awards 2018, beating seven other nominees. 

The firm was shortlisted alongside Pinheiro Neto Advogados, Robins Kaplan, Levy & Salomão Advogados, Pereira Neto Macedo Advogados, Blake Cassels & Graydon, Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll and Cravath Swaine & Moore.

Barbosa Müssnich e Aragão Advogados won. BMA was involved in the majority of CADE’s high profile cases in 2017, and counted Dow/DuPont, BMFBovespa/Cetip, LATAM/IAG, Itaú Unibanco/Citibank, Itaú/XP, HP/Samsung, Kroton/Estácio, LM Wind/GE, Magnesita/RHI, Oberthur/Safran, Zodiac/Safran, Petrobras/Petrotemex, Essilor/Luxottica and Linde/Praxair among the cases it advised on in what was an impressively strong year for the firm. The team  has been instructed in the majority of international cartel investigations and in almost every Operation Car Wash probe.
