Serious challenges: The Tipline for 12 May 2021
Facebook has raised “serious challenges” to the Federal Trade Commission’s monopolisation lawsuit, the presiding judge has said. In a brief order on Tuesday, Judge James Boasberg of the US District Court for the District of Columbia said the FTC’s request to start discussing discovery in the case was premature because it is not clear how much, if any, of its complaint will still be standing next month after he rules on Facebook’s motion to dismiss.
