Pay-for-delay-ception: The Tipline for 26 January 2021
In Christopher Nolan-esque style, the Federal Trade Commission alleged on Monday that Endo Pharmaceuticals and Impax Laboratories settled claims of a violation of the terms of an “anticompetitive” pay-for-delay settlement by entering into another “anticompetitive” pay-for-delay settlement. Also in Tipline, Rebecca Kelly Slaughter and Leslie Overton call on the US antitrust agencies to take on structural racism and the New York legislature seeks to add more bite to the state’s competition law.
