CenturyLink has agreed to pay to resolve allegations that it once again violated the terms of a merger settlement reached with the Department of Justice. It may not just be the Antitrust Division’s trust that the telecommunications company needs to worry about losing. Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, who signed off on both of CenturyLink’s first two settlements, has interviewed with President Biden to fill the Supreme Court seat that will soon be vacated by Justice Stephen Breyer.
