This time last year, the heads of Facebook, Google, Amazon and Apple were testifying before a Congressional committee equipped with pointed questions and unflattering documents. The antitrust fates of these four companies have see-sawed over the past year, with Facebook emerging as the first all-out battleground. On Thursday, a New York-led coalition of state enforcers asked the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to reinstate their monopolisation case against the social network.
