Google wins one: The Tipline for 14 May 2021
Federal and state enforcers’ antitrust lawsuits against Google remain pending, but the company has staved off a class action challenging its digital advertising business for the time being. A California federal court is allowing the plaintiffs to amend their lawsuit, telling the putative class of advertisers and publishers that they need to narrow their claims and allege additional facts. Also in Tipline, Energy Transfer’s acquisition of Enable Midstream receives a second request and senators advance legislation that would increase filing fees for “megamergers”.
