Automatic card shufflers make card counting impossible. When involved in antitrust litigation, they apparently also make counting the statute of limitations quite difficult. In refusing to grant summary judgment to an automatic card shuffle manufacturer on Monday, a federal court in Chicago said genuine questions of fact still remain about when a rival maker knew it might have suffered antitrust harm.
