Wu praised the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice for going on “a bit of a winning streak” – and not because they are “chickenshit lawyers” who only take winnable cases. The executives facing price-fixing charges in Denver know a thing or two about chickens and are well aware the DOJ is not afraid to lose in court, though five of them have successfully avoided a third trial.
