While the Department of Justice is suing to protect competition for keeping doors shut, House Republicans are asking if the Federal Trade Commission is doing enough to keep them open. During a budget hearing on Thursday, Representative Steve Womack cited “abysmal” employee survey results and a “mass exodus” of senior staff before asking FTC chair Lina Khan if the agency has an open door policy. “Absolutely,” Khan said, noting the introduction of open FTC meetings.
