Judge James Boasberg dealt federal and state antitrust enforcers a tough hand on Monday as he granted Facebook’s request to dismiss both of their respective monopolisation lawsuits. The Federal Trade Commission has at least been offered a chance to show their cards and see the flop – if it chooses to stay at the table. The commission’s Democrats have made it pretty clear over the past few years that they would rather lose a large stack of chips than fold.
