We still need to talk about consumer welfare: The Tipline for 4 October 2018

We’re over on K Street this morning, not to lobby anyone ourselves but to hear the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation try to persuade us that the US “should stick with the consumer welfare standard and not return to the days when antitrust policy viewed big as inherently bad.” The issue of consumer welfare also popped up at the Senate’s antitrust subcommittee hearing yesterday – check out our reporting in today’s Headlines and News & Notes.
