Washington’s birthday: The Tipline for 14 February 2020
Happy Valentine’s Day. If US presidents are more your scene, what’s commonly known as Presidents’ Day is coming up on Monday, and GCR USA will have the day off, returning to your inbox on Tuesday. To fill your day, we have coverage of the Qualcomm appeal oral arguments and the Department of Justice’s venture capital workshop. The holiday is officially in the federal calendar as Washington’s Birthday, honouring the first US president. George Washington was born on 22 February 1732; Abraham Lincoln on 12 February 1809.
