Virtual spring: The Tipline for 21 April 2020

The American Bar Association’s virtual spring meeting kicked off last Friday and continued yesterday with a panel discussion featuring top Federal Trade Commission officials. Most panel discussions of the virtual antitrust conference will be released as videocasts or podcasts, although both Wednesday’s keynote on the cannabis industry and Friday’s enforcers’ roundtable will be livestreamed. We also have updates on antitrust approval for collaborative efforts to distribute hydroxychloroquine, a potential covid-19 treatment and a new lawsuit regarding the market for marine distress signals.
