US agencies focus on mega mergers as small deals pass

A report released this morning by Cornerstone Research says the US antitrust agencies in fiscal year 2015 devoted two thirds of their second requests to deals worth more than $1 billion, while subjecting no notified mergers valued at less than $100 million to such scrutiny.
