The whole nine yards: The Tipline for 18 April 2023

Nine more states have joined the Department of Justice’s adtech case against Google. The attorneys general of Arizona, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Washington and West Virginia hopped into the ring on Friday, upping the total to 17. A Texas-led coalition of 14 states plus Puerto Rico is litigating similar allegations in Manhattan – pitting more than half of the union against the technology giant.
