Judge Tanya Chutkan knows a few things about conspiracies. The judge presiding over Donald Trump’s election-related indictment represented plaintiffs during her time at Boies Schiller Flexner in class actions alleging cartel conspiracies for metals and vitamins. On Sunday, Trump wrote on social media that he would ask for her recusal “on very powerful grounds” but did not elaborate further. Perhaps the 45th President is not a fan of Judge Chutkan’s decision to block Wilhelmsen’s acquisition of Drew Marine in 2018.
