He may not be 25 and sitting on $25 million, but Makan Delrahim has certainly taken the message of Drake’s The Motto to heart. The former head of the Department of Justice’s antitrust division, now a partner at Latham & Watkins, has purchased the rapper’s 16,000 square foot mansion in Hidden Hills, California, for a cool $11.3 million, according to The Dirt. The 3.1 acre lot – known as the “You Only Live Once estate” – apparently features a recording studio, a 25-seat movie theatre and a mechanical bull for all of Delrahim’s antitrust-related needs. In today’s Tipline, the DOJ gets another new economist and a California judge slams Meta for its counsel’s uncouth use of footnotes.
