We have officially entered spring – a period of rejuvenation and rebirth, which many want for antitrust enforcement. Legislators have already made a few antitrust proposals, and Representative David Cicilline is now expected to introduce at least 10 more. But what does not need reviving? Collegiality between members of the “deadlocked” Federal Trade Commission, according to commissioners Christine Wilson and Noah Phillips, who both spoke last week at an event hosted by the Free State Foundation. “If you were just to count matters, not necessarily in terms of their scope or importance, I think you would find that the overwhelming majority have at least bipartisan support if not unanimous support,” Phillips said.
