Senior DOJ official debunks merger myths

The director of civil enforcement at the Department of Justice’s antitrust division said there is rarely a disconnect between experienced antitrust lawyers' understanding of deals and that of her agency, and that the DOJ doesn’t look to a merger agreement’s risk-shifting provisions as a guide.
