The Republican-led subcommittee on the administrative state, regulatory reform and antitrust is holding its first competition-focused hearing of the session and the aim is to roll back slaughterhouse regulations rather than pass new ones. Also in Tipline, the Federal Trade Commission seeks an emergency pause on Microsoft/Activision Blizzard and Nasdaq proposes its biggest-ever acquisition.
