Reforms ahead: The Tipline for 9 May 2022

Federal Trade Commission chair Lina Khan said on Friday that “potentially significant” reforms are ahead as the US conducts a “broad reassessment of the effectiveness of our competition tools and our approach to law enforcement”. Speaking at the International Competition Network’s annual conference on Friday, the FTC chair also said that the US was “far from alone in seeing the need for a course correction, and in certain regards our reforms may bring us in closer alignment with other jurisdictions”.
