Procompetitive bid-rigging? The US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit may have upended criminal antitrust enforcement on Friday. A three-judge panel threw out the Sherman Act conviction of a sales manager because the court said his company also had a vertical relationship with its bid-rigging co-conspirator.
