The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has affirmed another antitrust opinion from Judge Richard Leon, but the AT&T/Time Warner jurist and Tunney Act superfan did not receive glowing reviews. A three-judge panel said they only agreed to take the appeal during the middle of litigation because Judge Leon’s order certifying classes against Visa and Mastercard was questionable as “its statements of law were not entirely clear, its citations were not current, and its record analysis was notably terse."
