After securing clearances from 15 different enforcers and beating back a challenge from the Federal Trade Commission, Call of Duty is officially property of Microsoft. But like the fighters in Activision’s war simulation, Microsoft’s antitrust problems cannot actually die. The commission is appealing its loss and signalling it still plans to fight the transaction before its administrative tribunal.
