It appears that US-EU convergence on antitrust enforcement in labour markets doesn’t apply to antitrust labour. At least that’s what Fiona Scott Morton has found. The Yale University professor has withdrawn her acceptance of an offer to serve as the EU’s chief competition economist following criticism from member state officials, including French President Emmanuel Macron.
