Pennsylvania and DC won’t get compensation for Staples/Office Depot
A Washington, DC, federal judge has denied the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's and the District of Columbia’s request for $175,000 in legal fees for their role in the Staples/Office Depot lawsuit, on the rationale that he enjoined the deal under the Federal Trade Commission Act rather than the Clayton Act.
