Something about this Federal Trade Commission has the business community choosing fighting words. The US Chamber of Commerce’s president declared “war” on agency chair Lina Khan and company last year and now there is no telling what Microsoft has in store following the agency’s suit to block its $69 billion merger with Activision. “While we believed in giving peace a chance, we have complete confidence in our case and welcome the opportunity to present our case in court,” Microsoft president Brad Smith said in response to the commission’s complaint.
