Our day’s labour: The Tipline for 23 September 2019

We hopped up to Chicago over the weekend for Northwestern Law’s 12th annual conference on antitrust economics and competition policy, where scholars presented papers on topics ranging from mergers to steering incentives on platforms to vertical restrictions. The potential anticompetitive effects of even non-controlling stakes in competing companies was a theme of the event, including for the Friday lunch keynote by Scott Hemphill.
