No divestiture here: The Tipline for 19 January 2018

We are all over the Washington, DC, area today to cover several events, so check your Monday briefing for the news. We will be at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School for a conference on what’s ahead in antitrust, with assistant attorney general Makan Delrahim kicking it off; and acting Federal Trade Commission chairman Maureen Ohlhausen will give remarks in the afternoon about the effect of US antitrust enforcement on intellectual property rights in foreign jurisdictions. We’ll also be on Capitol Hill for a discussion of the AT&T/Time Warner merger challenge; and at the federal courthouse for a status conference about that litigation.
