Ninth Circuit panel takes disparate views on disparate interests
A federal appellate court’s decision to allow a class action settlement to go forward has drawn a dissent from one judge, who said the district court should not have certified a class in which some members’ claims were barred by the Foreign Trade Antitrust Improvements Act or Illinois Brick.
