Powerful you have become AI, the dark side Lina Khan senses in you. To celebrate Star Wars Day, the Federal Trade Commission is cautioning responsible use of the force – of artificial intelligence. In a New York Times op-ed published yesterday, agency chair Khan said antitrust enforcers must remain vigilant of dominant companies wielding this rapidly developing technology to further cement their position. The FTC is still trying to make up for failing to prevent the Dark Side’s acquisition of the Sith Lord Count Dooku back in the year 32 Before the Battle of Yavin.
