Litigation Nation: The Tipline for 14 August 2023

Live Nation’s antitrust problems continue to grow. The Department of Justice is reportedly preparing to sue the bipartisan punching bag as soon as this autumn and now the company has lost its bid to force arbitration against private litigation. The win for ticket purchasers comes just in time for the presale of the next leg of Taylor Swift’s US tour. Hopefully it goes smoother than the first. Also in Tipline, Illumina/Grail is not out of the woods yet when it comes to US regulators.
