The Department of Justice has a labour problem – and it's not just the need for additional staff. The Antitrust Division lost its third consecutive criminal labour case on Wednesday after a federal jury in Maine acquitted owners of four home healthcare staffing companies of price-fixing and no-poach charges. Counsel to one of the defendants said the jury "clearly" understood that the charges were “grossly unfair”. Also in Tipline, the FTC has its head in the cloud and CVS is the subject of a warning letter from Senator Elizabeth Warren.
