Judges lose bright-line rule in Vitamin C ruling
The Supreme Court’s ruling yesterday that courts need not abide by foreign governments’ statements on the meaning of their own laws tracked closely with the arguments of the US Department of Justice, but a critic of the unanimous opinion said it has left lower courts without clear guidance.
