Judge rejects antitrust standard for FRAND violations
A federal judge in California last month rejected an antitrust-based approach to standard-essential patent royalties, ruling that a SEP-holder can be in violation of a commitment to license on fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory terms even if there is no harm to competition.
